An Immigration officer testified in court on Friday at the bail hearing of controversial Pastor Tim Omotoso.
Ivan Klaasen from the Department of Home Affairs told the court that the pastor was in South Africa illegaly.
In his sworn affidavit he told the court that the leader of the Jesus Dominion Church had six passports but that they was only in possession of five of them.
The court heard that a visa issued to the 58-year-old pastor in 2000 was fraudulent making all other visa applications null and void.
The National Spokesperson for the Hawks Robert Netshiumda spoke to the media shortly after court adjourned.
"This is what we have been waiting for. It is what we believed from day one," Netshiunda said. "Today we heard about a sixth passport which he claims that he has lost."
Netshiunda added that they are happy now that all these details are coming out to the public.
Omotoso is facing 22 charges of sexual violence and human trafficking.
The Bail hearing was remanded until the 23rd of May and Omotoso will remain at St Albans Prison.
