Parnell gets Proteas call-up

Chevrolet Warriors all-rounder Wayne Parnell has been named in South Africa's one day international side ahead of today's fourth ODI against Sri Lanka in Kimberley.

The Proteas having already clinched the 5-match series and coach Gary Kirsten has opted to rest Dale Steyn ahead of gruelling tours to New Zealand, England and Australia this year.

Parnell played his last match for the Proteas at the Cricket World Cup in March last year.
