Garden Route police are investigating a case of business robbery after a panga wielding robber stole a bag of potatoes from a Spaza shop in Great Brak River on Tuesday.
A spokesperson for police Sergeant Laurianne Botha says the man allegedly entered the shop at around half past 2 in the afternoon and intimidated the owner with a panga.
She says he grabbed a bag of potatoes before inviting everybody standing outside to come inside and loot the shop.
Sergeant Botha says when police arrived the suspects fled in different directions.
No arrests have been made.
