An application by Oscar Pistorius’s lawyers to be granted leave to review the decision by Judge Thokozile Masipa to allow the state to appeal his conviction, has been dismissed.
State prosecutor, Gerrie Nel, said the Defence wanted Judge Masipa to review the same ruling that she had made in December last year.
But Pistorius's lawyer Advocate Barry Roux SC said the application merely sought leave to argue that Judge Masipa had made an error in granting the State leave to appeal.
Roux said the Superior Court Act gave him room to bring an application regarding Judge Masipa's decision.
