A Mossel Bay man facing four counts of fraud has been denied bail in the Mossel Bay Magistrate's Court.
The 35-year old Wayne Anthony appeared in court on Thursday on charges of fraud and theft in a case being investigated by the Hawks' anti-corruption unit.
According to Southern Cape Police Spokesperson, Captain Malcolm Pojie, Anthony's modus operandi was to deposit money that he received for vehicles at a car dealership into his personal bank account.
Anthony faces three similar charges of theft and fraud in the Mossel Bay Regional Court.
The four charges will be added together for trial purposes and the matter was postponed to the 1st of April.
