Murder-accused paralympian Oscar Pistorius will be admitted as a day-patient at Weskoppies Psychiatric Hospital from next week for mental observation.
Judge Thokozile Masipa handed down the order in the High Court in Pretoria this morning as she postponed the trial to the 30th of June.
Pistorius showed no emotion as Masipa instructed that he report to Weskoppies at 9am on Monday the 26th of May for a period not exceeding 30 days.
He will remain at Weskoppies on weekdays until 4pm, or until such time as he is formally excused by the medical superintendent.
