Uitenhage police have identified the body of a woman whose body was found in Perseverance.
She was the 35-year old Andiswa Kantyo.
Police spokesperson, Warrant Officer Basil Seekoei says a security guard heard gun shots close to his work place on Monday and on investigation, found the body of the woman with two gun shot wounds lying in an open field.
Seekoei says the guard told police that he saw a brown metallic Isuzu double cab light delivery vehicle speeding from the scene. It had blue stripes on the side.
