Charismatic Nigerian pastor, Timothy Omotoso, made a brief appearance in the Port Elizabeth High Court on Monday.
He was met with cheers from supporters in the public gallery where his wife, Taiwo, was also present.
Late last year, Omotoso was dealt a blow, after the Supreme Court of Appeal turned down his application to have Judge Mandela Makaula recused from the trial and charges against him quashed.
State prosecutor, Nceba Ntelwa, told the court on Monday that there was an agreement with the defence to postpone the matter to the 16th of April pending the outcome of Omotoso's application to the Constitutional Court.
Cheryl Zondi was the first and to date the only witness who has testified in the trial which started in October last year.
The 60-year-old Omotoso and his two co-accused Zukiswa Sitho and Lusanda Solani, face a total of 63 charges which include racketeering, human trafficking, and rape as well as 34 alternative charges.
