Old house in Grahamstown burns to the ground

One of the oldest homes in Grahamstown burnt to the ground on Monday morning.

Police Captain Mali Govender says the fire in the house in New Street started just before 6am.

Its not clear at this stage if anyone died in the blaze.

Govender says the house was more than 100-years old and belonged to a Grahamstown businessman.
