East London police have arrested three suspects following an armed robbery at an Engen garage in Beacon Bay.
Police spokesperson, Captain Stephen Marais says it was later established that one of the suspects arrested on Tuesday was an off duty policeman from Duncan Village.
He says they have not been formally charged and investigations are still underway.
Marais says police were involved in a high speed pursuit on Monday following the armed robbery.
He says one suspect was shot and killed during the chase while the other is still at large.
