Higher Education Minister, Blade Nzimande, will deliver the keynote address at today's launch of the Centre for Integrated Post-School Education and Training.
The centre is located at Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University's Missionvale Campus.
NMMU says the Centre has been established in response to a call by Nzimande for the expansion of the Further Education Training Sector to absorb more than three million young people who are not employed, educated or trained.
The Institution says the launch of the Centre is also timely, in light of the recently released Green Paper on Post-School Education and Training that is currently out for public comment.
