State prosecutor Marius Stander says he's ready for any possible application for leave to appeal by the legal team of murder accused, Christopher Panayiotou.
He made the brief comment to the media after Magistrate Abigal Beeton turned down Panayiotou's bail application on Friday.
Beeton announced her decision but will only provide full reasons next Friday.
During her brief judgement she said that she was alive to the fact that her decision would be subject to an appeal.
Panayiotou is accused of orchestrating the abduction and murder of his wife Jayde in April.
Two alleged accomplices are also behind bars.
