Nelson Mandela Bay Mayor Athol Trollip says Officials and Public Representatives will no longer be allowed to travel via Business and First Class.
He says under the previous administration, an excessive amount of money was spent on luxurious travel in stead of service delivery.
Trollip asked officials to coordinate their travel arrangements well in advance as to secure the lowest possible fares.
He says this forms part of his promise to secure R100 million in savings in his first 100 days in office to be redirected to improving service delivery and growing the economy and jobs.
