Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality would like to inform residents and businesses that water will be shut off on Friday the 5th of July from 9 am.
The Metro says the shutdown is important in order to install an important valve. No time frame was given for the restoration of the water supply.
The following areas will be affected:
- Glenroy Park
- Vikingvale
- Walker Drive Shopping Center
- Brymore (excluding Carstens & Shabani Road)
The municipality would like to apologise for the inconvenience this may cause.
The Metro also urged residents to keep their refuse bags indoors as their depots are closed at the moment.
NMB says this is due to ongoing protest action by SMME's.
