Rural Development Minister, Gugile Nkwinti, will visit Addo in the Eastern Cape this week to try and assist people caught up in the Khangela Farm debacle.
The farm was purchased by the Departmet of Agriculture in the Eastern Cape, under the watch of former MEC, Max Mamase, who was laster charged with corruption related to the purchase from the late businessman, Norman Benjamin.
The Department of Rural Development says Minister Nkwinti is trying to assist about 38 workers who were allegedly told that they would be given a stake in the citrus farm.
The Department says Nkwinti want to ensure that Khangela Farm is restored to its former glory, but this can only be done once all the legal hurdles have been cleared.
