Police Minister Nathi Nhleko is expected to return to Nelson Mandela Bay this week where he will once again visit the Northern Areas.
Nhleko is the chairperson of the Justice, Crime Prevention and Security Cluster.
According to the programme Minister Nhleko will go on a walkabout in Bethelsdorp and Gelvandale before addressing a media briefing afterwards.
During his last visit in February Minister Nhleko told a public meeting in Booysens Park that the police and the army would make “visible intervention” in northern areas to deal with drugs and guns in the area.
However, he said the army would Not be patrolling the streets, but said that government would make a visible intervention to address community concerns crime and gangsterism.
