The rape and human trafficking trial of the Nigerian pastor, Timothy Omotoso, was adjourned in the Port Elizabeth High Court until Wednesday.
This, after his defence attorney, Peter Dauberman, requested further particulars from the State.
He told Judge Irma Schoeman that this application was done during a pre-trial conference.
The state is expected to oppose that application, according to acting National Prosecuting Authority spokesperson Sibulele Mboyi.
She says this is just another delay tactic as they believe all necessary information was provided.
The 61-year-old Omotoso's trial started afresh on Tuesday after being postponed in March when the original presiding officer, Judge Mandela Makaula recused himself.
This, because his wife owns a guesthouse where state witnesses had stayed.
Makaula said although he had no direct interest in the business, he was stepping aside in the interest of justice.
Omotoso has been in custody since his arrest in April 2017.
His two co-accused are out on bail.
