New names for municipal buildings in NMBM

 The Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality will officially rename several municipal buildings in the Metro on Friday.

In a statement the municipality said that Pleinhuis, opposite city hall, will now be known as Noninzi Luzipho House.

Brister House becomes Lillian Diedericks House and Eric Tindale building is Mfanasekhaya Gqobose House.

The Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality says the renaming of these buildings rewrites the country's history, pays tribute to anti-apartheid struggle heroes and strengthens nation building.
