In a boost for the Baviaans Local Municipality, Eastern Cape MEC for Transport, Roads and Public Works, Thandiswa Marawu will officially open the Willowmore Driving License Testing Centre in the town on Tuesday.
The event forms part of Transport Month.
People in Willowmore have in the past experienced great problems in obtaining a learners or driver’s license, and most have had to travel to neighbouring municipalities for their licenses.
The Baviaans Local Municipality, however, will now have a Grade B facility, accommodating 10 learners’ license applicants per class, twice a day, and a maximum of six applicants a day for
driver’s with each test lasting an hour.
