Netball South Africa has identified the four women who were killed in Sunday morning's fatal bus accident on the R61 near Aberdeen.
The team was on their way to Cape Town for the 2021 National Netball Championships.
Three players and a coach died while 28 others were injured, five of them critical.
They were coach Nocamagu Mvunyiswa and three players Phelo Charles, Indiphile Mfengu and Thabisile Maxikika who all hailed from the OR Tambo district of the Eastern Cape.
Netball South Africa President, Cecilia Molokwane, said they were devasted by the news and are all in mourning as those who had passed away had all been part of netball.
She started the tournament on Monday with a candlelight ceremony to remember the lives of the deceased.
