The Nelson Mandela Bay Business Chamber has announced the resignation of its president and deputy president.
In a statement on Thursday night, the Chamber confirmed the departure of Board president Bryan Dowley and deputy president, Nomkita Mona.
Dowley said while he enjoyed the support of the Board, he believed it was time to step down.
He said it was time to inject a fresh co-operative spirit into the Chamber.
Mona said she resigned because of an increase in her business committments.
She will remain on the board for the immediate future.
The Chamber will elect new office bearers at its annual general meeting on the 23rd of May.
