The busy N10 road near Cookhouse has been blocked by protesters yet again.
Police Spokesperson Captain Bradley Rawlinson says protesters stopped three trucks at 5 am on Tuesday and parked them in such a way that vehicles cannot pass.
He says the protesters then fled the scene with the keys to the trucks.
This is the second time in less than a month where trucks were used to block the road.
Rawlinson says the truck drivers have opened up cases at the Cookhouse police station and will now have to wait for the owners to organise spare keys to remove the vehicles that are currently blocking both lanes.
Detectives are investigating the matter and are hoping to retrieve the stolen keys and make the necessary arrests.
The previous incident where the road was blocked was on the 18th of March.
The reason for the protest is not known.
