The attorney representing suspended Knysna Tourism CEO Shaun van Eck says the board has been given until Friday to specify the allegations against his client.
In a brief statement on Tuesday, attorney Johnny Bakker, said not all the charges against Van Eck were clarified during a meeting last week and the Board now has until the 19th to do so.
He says Van Eck had already been suspended on the 25th of September and not on the 12th of October as the Board claimed in a communication to Knysna Tourism members last Friday.
Bakker says Van Eck's disciplinary hearing on the Second of November will prove that his client had acted in the very best interests of Knysna Tourism.
In an earlier statement board chairperson, Greg Vogt, said they could not divulge any more information on the suspension without compromising the integrity of both Van Eck and the Board.
