Mystery over discovery of body near Bluewater Bay

Port Elizabeth police have found the body of a man buried in a hole amongst bushes along the N2 near Bluewater Bay.

Police Captain Sandra Janse Van Rensburg is at the scene and says its too early to say if the body is that of 37-year old Chinese national Zhi Duan Huang.

She's also asked that the public not stop at the crime scene as the area is becoming extremely conjested.

"At this time we cannot speculate if this is the body of the Chinese man who was murdered recently. We still need to do our investigations. We received a complaint earlier today [Friday] from the public. We are still at the scene, we cannot confirm anything at this stage because the body is buried." says Van Rensburg.

Huang's body has been missing for two weeks following his murder inside a Chinese restaurant at Dolphins Leap on the Port Elizabeth beachfront.

3 Chinese nationals are in custody for killing the Chinese court interpreter and a samurai sword, believed to be the murder weapon, is in the possession of police.

Meanwhile, police are investigating a case of culpable homicide after the body of a man was found on the N2 near Coega on Friday.

Its suspected that the man in his forties was hit by a truck.
