Police at Dutywa in the Eastern Cape are investigating the mysterious death of no-less then 23 goats at Qhorha Village. They are suspected to have been poisoned.
Butterworth police spokesperson, Captain Jackson Manatha, says a 54 year-old livestock owner was informed by one of his shepherds that the goats had been found dead in a garden at Qhorha Village.
On inspection, it was found that the dead animals had no visible injuries. No one has been arrested yet, and anyone with information is asked to contact the Dutywa Police.
