Algoa Park police in Gqeberha are investigating two more cases of murder that took place a day apart in Missionvale.
Police spokesperson Lt Col Siphokazi Mawisa says in the first incident - that took place on Sunday - a 29-year-old man was gunned down in Boesak Grounds.
The man, identified as Jason Sampson, suffered a gunshot wound to the stomach and died shortly before the police arrived at the scene.
Mawisa said no further information was available and the motive is unknown.
“Investigation is ongoing,” she said.
In an unrelated murder that also took place in Missionvale, a 22-year-old man was killed on Monday when he was shot in the head and neck.
“On arrival they found the body of Mcegamat Dollie laying in the street, with gunshot wounds.”
Lt Col Mawisa said police are appealing to anyone who can assist with information that could lead to the arrest of the suspects to contact D/WO Errol Kleinhans on 083 243 4567 or the SAPS Crime Stop number on 08600 10111 or the nearest police station.
All information is confidential, and callers may remain anonymous, she said.
In August, police were also appealing to the public for assistance in solving a double murder that took place in Missionvale.
