The Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality is expected to sign off on Tuesday on the tender for the 2013 Splash Festival.
That's the word from the municipality's executive director for economic development and recreational services, Zolile Siswana.
He said the tender process closed on Monday and newly appointed municipal manager, Dr Lindiwe Msengana-Ndlela, will sign off on the tender award.
Siswana says marketing of the Splash Festival will commence on Wednesday.
The Municipality has come under fire for delays in awarding the tender for the Splash Festival which takes place over Easter weekend.
