Members of the SA Municipal Workers Union have run amok in Dutywa.
Police spokesperson, captain Jackson Manatha, says about 300 disgruntled Samwu members threw rubble in the streets on Monday morning and set it alight.
He says police are monitoring the situation but no action had been taken yet.
Last week SAMWU cancelled a march to Bhisho to complain about a range of issues including the implementation of a 14th cheque for all municipal workers.
