The Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality says some of its customer care centres will be closed on Thursday morning.
This, as talks continue with disgruntled staff members who downed tools on Wednesday in a labour dispute.
Municipality spokesperson, Marthie Nel, says among the issues discussed were re-grading of staff, the acquisition of protective clothing or uniforms for staff working in the Assistance to the Poor Programme, as well as a casual allowance for ATTP staff.
She says talks will continue.
Nel has urged members of the public to pay their municipal accounts at any of the post offices across Nelson Mandela Bay.
