Mthatha police arrest learners at school in possession of weapons

Mthatha police have arrested two learners during a school raid, for the possession of weapons.
Police spokesperson, Lt Colonel Mzukisi Fatyela says the youths aged 18 and 19 were arrested on Wednesday at the Jongintaba Senior Secondary School near Mthatha.
He says a raid was conducted after police were alerted of a fight between the teenagers.
Fatyela says the learners were found with a firearm, live ammunition and a knife.
The suspects will appear in the Mthatha Magistrates Court on Friday.
