Motorcylist killed on Rocklands Road near Uitenhage

A 52-year old motorcyclist was killed, after colliding with a car on the Rocklands Road outside Uitenhage late on Saturday afternoon

Police spokesperson, WO Basil Seekoei says the driver of the car was arrested at the scene, and charged with drunken driving and culpable homicide.

He says the victim, Theo Theron from Penford, died in front of his fianceé, who was right behind him in a bakkie.

Seekoei says the 37-year old driver will appear in the Uitenhage magistrates court on Monday.
