Police are investigating a case of culpable homicide after a motorcyclist was killed in an accident near Malabar in Gqeberha.
Spokesperson, Captain Sandra Janse Van Rensburg says the accident happened early Saturday morning on the road between Westering and Malabar.
She said it was alleged that two motorcyclists were travelling towards Malabar and may have touched while overtaking.
Janse Van Rensburg said one person on a Kawasaki motorcycle died after losing control and overturning while the rider of the other motorcycle collided with an oncoming car.
She said the driver and passenger in the car sustained minor injuries.
The name of the deceased has not yet been released.
