Motorcyclist killed in accident near Plett

A motorcyclist was killed in an accident on the N2 at Keurbooms Heights near Plettenberg Bay on Saturday morning.

The road was temporarily closed to traffic, after the motorbike rider collided with a vehicle.

Western Cape traffic chief, Kenny Africa says the motorcyclist was allegedly blinded by the sun and collided into the rear of the vehicle.

He says traffic was diverted onto the old national road.

The name of the deceased has not yet been released.
