Motherwell police arrest 73 in crime prevention operation

 Police in Motherwell, Port Elizabeth, arrested 73 people at the weekend in crime prevention operations.

Thirty two of the arrests were for drunken and disorderly conduct and 14 were for aggravated assault.

The other arrests were for a variety of offences including armed robbery, possession of stolen goods and drug-related crimes.
