Motherwell continues to be the epicentre of the coronavirus in Nelson Mandela Bay.
This is according to the latest figures released by the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality.
Municipal spokesperson Mthubanzi Mniki has confirmed a total number of 1 836 covid-19 cases across the metro, as of the ninth of June.
Motherwell is first on that tally, recording 265 cases, followed by Kwazakhele and Zwide, with 147 and 116 infections, respectively.
Areas which have recorded only one confirmed infection so far, include Linton Grange, Linkside and Sherwood.
Uitenhage has 81 coronavirus cases and Despatch, 32.
