A 27 year old Willowvale woman has been arrested for the alleged murder of her 3 year old son.
Police captain, Jackson Manatha says it is alleged that the child was sleeping with his mother on Saturday evening, and family members found the boy on Sunday morning.
Manatha says they suspected that the mother assaulted the boy to death, and the case was reported to Willowvale Police.
The woman was arrested and will appear in court once the investigation is completed.
Manatha says the motive for the murder is still unclear.
