Two learners from a high school in Mossel Bay were attacked and stabbed by fellow learners on the school grounds on Thursday.
This followed an earlier attack on a 19-year-old learner from the same school, Indwe Secondary, who was stabbed in the back with a sharp object outside the school premises on Wednesday.
A police spokesperson said a teacher who tried to intervene between the groups during Thursday's fight was assaulted by learners.
Kwa Nonqaba police were deployed to the school and searched the learners and their school bags, seizing pangas, scissors and knives.
Police said six learners in total were arrested in connection with both incidents.
