Police members from the Mossel Bay Police Station arrested two illegal immigrants on Wednesday, following a robbery at a local home.
Police said the men gained entry to the house by bending the burglar bars on a window.
Correspondent Louise Karsten reports that the family had been sleeping when the men broke in.
Eight police members surrounded the house in KwaNonqaba in which the two suspects were hiding merely two hours after the robbery was reported on Wednesday morning.
Both suspects are originally from Mozambique.
Some of the stolen goods were found in possession of the two men.
They were arrested and will appear in the Mossel Bay Magistrate Court soon.
