A 32-year-old woman accused of brutally killing her best friend at her office in Mossel Bay has made her first court appearance.
Fallon Edwards, a mother of two, appeared briefly in the local Magistrates court on Thursday for allegedly stabbing 27-year-old Kirsty James to death.
The incident happened at the deceased's office at NDK Valuers in Spring Street on Monday afternoon.
Warrant Officer Pieter Koekemoer says James was stabbed multiple times and that the blade of the knife broke off in her body during the attack.
She died on the way to hospital.
The motive for the murder is still not known.
Edwards will remain in custody until her next court appearance on the 31st of October.
