A Mossel Bay man convicted of repeatedly raping two 12-year-old girls in 2012 will spend the next 32 years behind bars.
Donald Smit was sentenced in the Oudtshoorn Regional Court on Monday by Magistrate Daniel Boks.
Smit met the girls at a church in Mossel Bay where he befriended them. He then raped them over a period of months in 2012 and was arrested later the same year.
According to police most of the rapes took place inside Smit's vehicle.
He was found guilty on seven charges including rape, sexual assault, grooming and statutory rape.
