Mossel Bay man in freak accident with a netgun

A 41-year old man is being treated in a Mossel Bay hospital after being wounded in a freak accident with a netgun which is used in the capture of wild game.

Correspondent Louise Karsten reports the man was flying in a helicopter in Mossel Bay last Thursday during a game capturing operation when the accident happened.

It's alleged that some of the weights of the net gun had penetrated his body.

The man is in a stable condition in hospital.
