Mossel Bay man arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting woman in COVID-19 isolation facility

A 27-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a woman in a COVID-19 quarantine facility in Mossel Bay.

Police say the incident happened last week and the victim has since been removed from the facility and taken to a place of safety.

The suspect, who worked as a cleaner on the premises, was arrested on Saturday.

He will appear in the Mossel Bay Magistrate's Court on Monday.
