Tributes are pouring in for a Mossel Bay firefighter who was killed in an accident on Friday night.
Twenty-five-year-old Carlton Louw was been a member of the Rescue and Disaster Management team for the past eight years.
According to reports Louw was on his motorbike when he had an accident just after 10 pm near the Maalgate River outside George.
The Mossel Bay municipal manager Colin Puren said Louw was a dedicated professional firefighter who never stood back when duty called.
A case of culpable homicide is under investigation.
