Mossel Bay artist allegedly assault by 5 youths

A well-known artist from the Mossel Bay area has been admitted to hospital after being assaulted by five youths at her home near Gouritz Bridge.

The woman sustained multiple injuries and was admitted to hospital in George.

On Monday police arrested five youths in connection with the attack and also recovered bags filled with stolen goods.

The suspects are due to appear in court soon.
 

It is believed the suspects escaped from a youth centre last week.
