More than 100 arrests in Motherwell, PE

More than a hundred people were arrested in Motherwell in Port Elizabeth for various crimes over the
weekend including rape and murder.

Warrant Officer Dumile Gwavu said the arrests were part of various police operations.
Three people were arrested for murder and two for rape.

The litany of arrests included the crimes of malicious damage to property, stock theft, shoplifting, possession of dagga, assault, drunken driving and housebreaking.
