The Newton Park Indoor Swimming Pool in Port Elizabeth is standing empty - with no immediate solution in sight.
The pool was emptied on the 1st of July and the contractor was called in to deal with the problem of lifting tiles.
An official at the pool told AlgoaFM news that neither the manufacturer of the tiles nor the contractor is prepared to accept blame for the tiles lifting.
He said Newton Park Swimming Pool is still within its 5-year guarantee, with the work having been done about 4-years ago.
Another meeting with the architects and project managers is scheduled for later.
Its estimated that the repair work will cost in the region of a million-rand.
