Mom reunited with son found wandering along the N2

A little boy who was found wandering on the N-2 near Nanaga outside Port Elizabeth has been reunited with his mother.

A good Samaritan found little Awonke Magwabi on Thursday morning alone on the busy national road.

Concerned for his safety, she brought the child to the Mount Road Police Station in Port Elizabeth and following an appeal on Algoa FM's social media pages, the mother was located.

She rushed to the Kinkelbos police station to report her child missing, when they informed her that he was safe and sound in Port Elizabeth.

Police spokesperson, Captain Sandra Janse Van Rensburg, says Awonke was reunited with his mother, Lizeka on Friday morning.
