Mohair market remains flat after third sale for 2015

More than 160 000 kilograms of mohair were on offer at the third sale of the 2015 summer season in Port Elizabeth on Tuesday.

Mohair South Africa says 98% of the offering was sold.

It says its market indicator remained unchanged from the previous sale at R191. 37 per kilogram.

Mohair SA says price levels remained good, despite downward pressure from a stronger SA currency.

A highest price of R555/kg was paid for a bale of good style 24 micron kid mohair.
