Democratic Alliance leader, Mmusi Maimane, will be visiting Jeffereys Bay on Saturday as part of his National #Change19 tour.
Maimane will be conducting door to door visits in Dolphin Street in Pellsrus and will later hold a public meeting at the Corner of Galjoen and Robbie Dennis Streets.
Maimane's spokesperson, Graham Charters, said the #Change19 tour was a precursor to the 2019 election campaign.
Charters said Maimane has been in various communities across the country and has been engaging with people to understand their plight.
"The Leader has spent months touring the country, meeting South Africans in door-to-door campaigning, street and town hall meetings with community members and stakeholders, and engaging the youth," Charters said.
He said the response from seven of the nine provinces has been positive.
"The communities have received Maimane very well. I think that South Africans are ready for change and we're on the cusp of a new beginning," he said.
"We've been into communities where previously the DA wasn't able to go into. There's no hostility towards us and our message. People are receptive and a listening, caring party with a plan is being welcomed by citizens across the country," Charters concluded.
