There's been another gang-killing in Port Elizabeth's Northern Areas - this time in Helenvalve.
Colonel Priscilla Naidoo says two brothers were shot as they came out of a house in Pienaaar Street, Helenvale, at about 6pm on Thursday night.
Colonel Naidoo says 28-year-old Emmanuel Jordaan and his 32-year-old brother heard the front gate being kicked down and went to investigate.
Two suspects were at the gate and started shooting at the brothers.
Colonel Naidoo says the older brother sustained a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
Emmanual Jordaan died from a gunshot wound to the back.
The brothers are affiliated with the 'Honne koppe' gang.
Colonel Naidu says the suspects are known to the victim and are believed to be members of the New Kids gang.
The Provincial Gang Investigation unit is investigating a case of murder and attempted murder.
